29th December 2002 Windsurfing: Weston Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F3-4 Surf / Sea State: Fairly calm. A few lumps Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Wet Max Speed: Distance Covered: Yet another day the forecasters got completely wrong. Supposedly blowing blowing F4-5 (which it actually did later in the evening & at night). Managed to get about 45 mins of planing sailing before wind died. Adrian Johnson & I swapped boards & he ended up accidentally putting his arm through a panel in my sail (for which he coughed-up for the repair in advance - £60!!). |
